Policies

Thank you for visiting Glam Makeup By Paule-b. Please read carefully my policies and don"t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

  •       The client agrees to engage GMBPB to provide makeup services on the date and time agreed. Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction, but it is not to exceed the allotted makeup time.

  • The client is free to call or text me at: (203)769-9745 for any question or concern regarding the appointment.  If I’m not able to answer the call, the client should leave a detailed message stating the reason for the call and I will reach out as soon as I can.

  • A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to secure an appointment. Please be advised that dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when the signed contract and deposit are received.

 FOR WEDDINGS ONLY  (Fifty percent of the remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding date).

  •       The final balance is due on the day of the event as one payment. No exceptions. The person responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person who has signed the booking contract. Acceptable forms of payment are CASH, PAYPAL, POCKETSUITE INVOICE, CREDIT CARD(TAX WILL BE APPLIED) CHECK, OR MONEY ORDER.

  • A traveling fee ($20) Is charged to any location that is under 10 miles. A dollar will be charged per mileage to any location that is over 10 miles.
    PLEASE BE ON TIME FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT OTHERWISE LATE FEE WILL BE CHARGED. A 10 minutes grace period is granted to the client for the appointment time. If the client arrives late, there will be a  $35 fee (for weddings), $10 for a regular appointment will be charged for lateness.

FOR WEDDINGS ONLY (I will discuss ahead of time the makeup schedule for the wedding date)

  • PLEASE NOTIFY ME  of any allergies you may have toward any cosmetics and or chemicals. Should a reaction occur, requiring medical attention or not, it is agreed that GMBPB is not legally liable or responsible for injury and/or ailment of any kind.

  • All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application. And, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction.

  •  Before and after pictures of the makeup application will be taking during the appointment. The signed contract gives me full consent to use any picture that has been taken during a makeup session for advertising purposes. No name will be disclosed with the use of the pic. If requested I agree to share with the client any picture that has been taking during the session.

  • A TRIAL RUN IS MANDATORY FOR ALL WEDDINGS. This is our only chance to nail the perfect look so you can go into your big day confident that we have it right. Once you have a trial run it is up to you to get in contact with us to secure your date. If you know for sure you love our work go ahead and book us and don’t lose out on your date. You must have a SIGNED CONTRACT and DEPOSIT before your date is booked.
